Had an amazing day here at college...
Only took one final today, which was ACTS with Bro. Martinez..
Yesterday only took one was well which was Personal Evangelism..
The day before was only one as well which was English...
Tomorrow I will be taking two, which are Intro to Education, and Pastoral Epistles...
Then Friday I will be taking another two, which is Intro to Student Life and Old Testament Survey....then I get on a plane ...and I go home to see family and friends...

Can't wait to see my parents, brothers and sister, niece and nephews....amd every one else...

Here is my update...JUST FOR MY DAD...LOVE YOU!!!!!

Wow! So long since I have been writing on my blog.

Today is November 24,2009...

No classes until Monday... I have a good vacation coming up this weekend...I do not know what to do...

This past Saturday, I went ICE SKATING!!!!!!! It was amazing...did not fall one single time, and I have not been ice skating since about eight years ago...I had so much fun...was by myself half the night, but I got a lot of thinking done!

The Bus ministry in doing great...Love being on the bus and talking to all the kids, and see what they do for fun...the last four Saturdays, I have played soccer with my bus kids...I had so much fun!!!.. What is really amazing , they gave me the nickname....Miss. Bubble Gum lady...and you can probably tell me why they can me that nickname... :)

So .. I have this week, then one week of school, then finals, I will be home... I leave the 11th 0f December and I go back to college the 19th of January... This is going to be a wonderful vacation..I can't wait to see my family and friends...See Little Connor, Garret, Caleb, Katie Faye, and Dax....

It is amazing when I call home and here Connor's voice and talk to him...It is so cute...
I love it when I talk to my parents...my friends..or even a text from them...

I am Thankful for what the Lord has done for me since I gotten here..Thankful for my Salvation, Life, Jesus Christ, My Pastor and His family, the friends I have meet here at GSBC and the friends back home, Thankful for the Word of God, thankful for the job I have, for my car, and for this college...I can go on forever...

FINALLY UPDATED!!!!!!!!!

Hey Readers,

Yes, I know I am not keeping up with this blog of mine...
But the Lord is doing a great and mighty work here in my life..

All my classes I am passing with a C or above...Praise the Lord...
I had a great time out on soulwinning on Saturday, and Sunday was even better...

So we have this thing here after Sunday church called, "Preacher Boy's", It is for men who want's to preach and ladies are invited...So my thought, more preaching, that is good...Well on November 15, a friend and I will be singing...There is not a lot of people who come, so I ask who was in charge, and this friend and I will be singing. So please just pray that it all goes well...

I took an midterm in Intro to Student Life...Pretty easy..
I am so excited with my English grade.. it an 87.6..the highest in the class..wow!!!! (that is what my teacher said :) )
I AM VERY , VERY , VERY, excited..can't you all tell?..lol...lol

Wednesday: May the Lord Bless you all ... Pray for me, I have an English Test... I have study for it as much as I can... Now I have to work on a six page paper that is due Thursday..I should have it done by Wednesday Night... I have to get all my thoughts on paper...Whatever thought I do have ..lol... the paper is about "The History of Education in the United States"..

Hey Everyone,
Sorry it has been a very busy week..But the Lord has done amazing things in just a week.
Midterms I did very well..All passing grades...

This past Sunday was pumpkin week..Just on our bus we had 82 kids...The bus was full, they had to kick the workers off the bus, it was that full. That afternoon was even better...the fact that we did not get our bus until 4:30, but that was the matter...We had a great time playing games and talking to the bus kids....

But that day I had the opportunity to win my FIRST soul to Christ! The Lord had blessed me.. It was amazing showing a kid to Christ...I can only thank Christ... and the Brother Ray through his class Personal Evangelism...Both did a great job teaching me what to do...

I do ask for each one of you, who does read this blog, is to please pray for me... Lord is working in me with something, I will not say, but to Just Pray..

I am thankful for the family and friends He has out in my life...

FINALLY GOT ON THE BLOG FOR YOU ALL !!!!

Good Afternoon readers,

Monday .... Yes I had school today... This week is midterms...so this might be the only update for a couple of days...

Saturday.... Bus Ministries.... We had a great afternoon talking to all the kids...well I had a great time talking to all the kids...It was a blast just going and seeing all the faces...

Sunday.... Just from the day before...We had 14 kids just from the area we did... 14!!!!!!!...It is amazing what God is doing on this bus route...All together we had 51 kids...all together....

Monday.... The only midterm we had was for the class of Acts...I hope I did pretty well..I feel great about turning it in... So happy with the English Test I got back ..I got an 80%...Thats good for me...so happy, so happy...

Well I do have to get studying.

It is Thursday...The week is almost done..and I am ready for a great day for Saturday to go see my bus kids and the new eight bus kids...The Lord has done a great and wonderful thing...
Thursday...Great day of classes...We have not had a Thursday class since two weeks..so I am pretty happy to have todays classes...I really enjoy both of the classes for today...

I gave my life to Chirst... this last week had been a struggle in my life personally, doing a little bit of my will, not Gods.. and last night I gave my life to Christ...
The one verse that come to mind is

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage,
and he shall stregthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the Lord.

Just in the couple of days, the Lord has bless my life...

SATURDAY...SOUL WINNING!!!!!

Saturday... Lord has done so much for me today....
Today we had this one little kid name Alexis (boy), we asked him if he wanted to go to sunday school for tomorrow..He said yes, and was like ..dude, I need to go ask all my friends in the neighborhood...just from that one little kids, we have eight new kids riding on the bus for sunday school tomorrow...it was amazing ..just the excitement from just one kid..

Thursday... The day went great...Went soul winning, cause there was now school today...we knocked on about fifty doors today....Then came back and started working on reports, well TERM papers...so much fun..

Friday Morning... I know its not Friday yet...

October 2, 2005: Is a day to remember , well for me at least... It is the day I received Christ has my Savior.. Since that day , the Lord has done so much for me in my life...I can't stop thanking Him..The Lord has done more and more for me , its a blessing what I have seen in my life that has changed so much....

Back to school tomorrow...Can't wait to see what the Lord has for me.

Monday....

Saturday...great day doing the bus ministry...We could not do all day, but we did, it was what the Lord planned....That night it was the the beach bonfire....It went very well....The group I went with was amazing..great company..really enjoyed going with everyone....The bus bus ride was long, but worth it...

Sunday...Doing wake-ups...going to each house and making sure all the kids are ready by the time the bus picks them up...And once again, I was in charge of the water gun... :) :) :) The bus is the most amazing thing to do..being with all the kids..enjoying there laughs...and letting the kids enjoy being themselves....

Last night the group played the game Phase Ten....it was a laugh and a half..to play with the group....

Today was a great morning..started off well, reading my Bible..then a girlfiend and praying...It is a blessing that we can pray to a glorifyed Savior...Lord has bless so much...

Thursday Night...Friday...

Readers,

Thursday night....was girls night out in the gym....we had a bounce house... :) :) :)...awesome, there was basketball, and there was volleyball...I did the bounce house the entire night...many brusies to prove it..very very sore as well..but that my fault...

Friday... The girls went to San Franscico....we went to Union Square...Amazing..almost missed my bus..my group was about five minutes late..and I was the leader..but I did get I what I needed...so thankful...then we went to Pier 39..and again my group was about two minutes..but it was not my fault that time....we are finally back..an I am tired...

Tonight..The girls are watching a movie...do not know what movie, but hope it is worth it...
Then tomorrow night is the Beach Bonfire :) :) :) :)... I can't wait to go...It will be great activity..

Tuesday..Finally had classes

Tuesday.. I had Personal Evangelism and Intro to Student Life...All day in the Chapel...Five hours...so much fun in the same seat...

Monday..I had my first quiz in Old Testament Survey..did pretty well.. I will find my grade out hopefully tomorrow...
So no classes I for friday for sure..the guys are going camping and us girls are having a sleepover in the gym, then going somewhere on friday..don't know where...
Sunday was great...they put me in charge of the water gun on the bus...two other workers were the entertainment on the bus..it lasted for a good eight minutes..so much fun, so much fun...It was a great day...

Saturday...Soulwinning for the Lord!!!!

Today went out and knocked on about 90 doors, today.. The group that I was with, we had four little children received Christ as their savior..It was a blessing and a good feeling... I was able to show one little boy the Gospel, but he did not received Christ as his savior..But I had was glad that I was able to tell him about Christ...

Thursday,Had a great day of school, five hours in the same room, same seat, but different teacher.. I t was nice that we had chapel in between the classes..

Friday, We had NO SCHOOL!!!!! I was up by six, had breakfast at 9:30, then played a board game, "Are ya smater than a fifth grader" my team won...no joke!!! no laughing eaither you readers....lol went to the mall and walmart, I just had to get away from the dorms....

Pray that tomorrow that we all have a great Lord's day...

Wednesday..Pastor Conference Week..Last day

Wednesday, I have been so busy.. I am so glad that I can update my blog :)
Monday Night started Pastor's Conference here at GSBC..It has been great listening to all the pastors here.. Monday night we had, Pastor Tim Ruhl.. Tuesday morning we had Pastor Terry Angela and Pastor Mike Ray (he teaches here at GSBC), Tuesday night we had Pastor Trieber, cause Pastor Clarence Sexton could not make it because of health problems.. Wednesday we had Pastor Bobbie Roberson, Pastor Rick Martin, then Pastor Hancock..Tonight I will keep update for the next day...
Tuesday I had listen to Mrs. Francine Taylor, for a little bit.. It was good to listen to here again :)

Monday....

This week is the Pastor's Conference at North Valley Baptist Church...Yesterday was the first day that is began... It goes till Wednesday.. So yes, that means, no school tuesday, wednesday, and most likely thursday... this week is going to be a blast... :)

Sunday , I had a great day on bus 26.. Loving the kids more, getting to know them, their names and faces.. It is only my second week, but the Lord is Good, wherever is servants are...
He has done so much for me in the last couple of days, that I can't stop telling Him how much that I care for Him each day of my Life.. The Lord is Good...

Saturday..Another Great Day Here In CA!!!

Readers,

Friday.. 9/11... What a remarkable day it is to the USA... many lives were killed, many familys were devastated, and everyone lives were changed... I remembered were I was that day.. I was in 6th grade.. school had just began.. then since we were the upper class, the principle aloud our class go to another classroom and watch the news.. It was devasted to watch... there was nothing I could do other than to pray for those who had not died yet, to be saved...It was a long day..

Saturday..9/12...About two years ago, i was in school, I was called to the Office for a phone call..
My mom was on the phone.. she told me that my grandfather had just died... I did not know what to do...It was the class right before lunch.. I went to the bathroom, just to stay focus.. I did not show any emotions, but I was not doing so well.. even today.. it was hard to stay focus on what I needed to get done.. It made me cry, to the fact that, my grandfather was not saved...We could not even go to his funeral, not even my dad.. I pray for my dad every 9/12.. It is probably hard for him...

Today on the Door-knocking, the group I was with, we have three new girls coming on the bus.. so happy.. God can do anything but fail.. I have had that song on my mind all day.. It makes my day...

Thursday..2nd day of school :)

Doing pretty well... I am up every morning at 5:30am.. i am so happy for myself to be that early.. :) It is good to on a schedule for reading my devotions..Pray for that to be on a daily routine...
Today I had Introduction of Education.. It was nice, two hour class... the second class is Pastoral Epistles... Another two hour class... The funny thing is that I am in the same room for both class.. that is fours hours.. wow!, but I do have a break for chapel.. that is good...
So last night we had our first fire drill.. I was in bed and sleeping for a good twenty minutes.. whne it happen I thought is was my alarm going off, so yes.. I was hitting the snooze button ..then realized it was the a fire drill... :) that was a good night..lol

Wednesday..Class began!!!!

Wednesday.. first day of classes...
My fisrt class is Acts...very easy class.. just a little reading and memorizing... can't wait to get started... then I have Old Testament Survey....I have to get the whole Old Testament read by finals... then I have Basic English 99.... I am back doing spelling, vocabulary, and diction...thought I was done with that.. :) guess not..lol then its a break to go to Chapel,,, Today we had Dr. Trieber preaching to us...plus Wednesday is his chapel day anyway... Then Choir... today was easy just because it was the first day...plus know one had there book :) we all planned that ...lol

More Orientation!!!!!!!

So today we did more orientation...for everyone... we talked about fire drills, dress code, dating, just stuff like that..so much fun..
So in my last post I said I was not telling you my plans from last night.. so here they are.. lets see, i had a little voice lesson, while Melanie Messer played the piano for, then play around of ping pong, but a different version of it...they went and sang some more... they recorded to guys playing a duet together on the piano... amazing watching one playing by ear and the other one playing notes.. it was so much fun watching both of them playing... can't wait for more...
Today from now until curfew, I don't know what to do...
But I am enjoying what the Lord has given me so far... It is amazing what He can do in you life..I will love Him until I die!

Monday...Labor Day...

So for Labor day, all the college students went to a very big park, come on its big to the fact that ithad four volleyballs going at the same time...
But this morning, I was up at 5:30am.. going for a jog with one of the girls here GSBC.. I was so happy that I actually got up that early :) :) :)
There was four buses going to the park, and of course i was on the first bus, the bus driver went over the speed bump, and of course, i was riding in the back, and so he speeded up , and he saw was me up in the air, and of course my face expression.. That made his day...lucky me :)
Tonight , well you will find out tomorrow what will happen, maybe...lol

Sunday.. What AMAZING Lord's day

Sunday... I love waking up in the morning and knowing that its the Lord's day...
The Lord is doing a great job in my life here at Golden State Baptist College... even though classes have not started yet, meeting new facing is amazing..
Today.... the lucky bus that I joined was bus number 26, Bro. Donnie is my bus captian and he has so much he has plan for this bus that I am overwhelmed in what he is doingfor this bus...
I did morning wake-up today.. I went to each kid who said they would come and made sure they were ready for when the bus was coming...Then after that I help Melaine Messer in her fifth grade girls class for Sunday School.. loving it... Then went and helped in Jr. Church.. Then back on the bus to get the kids back home..
Tonight at the evening service... Pastor Trieber talk about giving ten percent more in anything that you do..
So I challege my readers to
Give ten percent more to the Lord and try doing it e=to Glorify the Lord as well..

Thursday...Registration...

Hi Everyone...
Its thursday and it was registration for the day.. many lines to stand in, but all done..so happy :)
Last night was my first night in the dorms...very exciting..my roommates are great ... love them..
Tomorrow is orientation so yes up in the morning at 6 am...yah for me... college has began but classes... classes do not start until September 8th... :)
Monday the college is going on a picnic...can't wait...
But tomorrow night I will be going to a baseball game...can't wait to go...

Tuesday Night/ Wednesday Morning

Today we went to the Golden Gate Bridge....It was amazing.....Took many pictures for the second time .... Walk along the beach, found many sand dollars, water was semi-cold...lol
Went to a lighthouse, say a whale... say many deer, at first thought we were back home...lol

Tomorrow..the big day for all the freshman at college...DORMS are open, Finally.. tonight is the last night I am with my family...tear...tear :(.... Instead of sharing th room with my sister I get to share with three new roommates...yah :) can't wait...

August 31,2009..
Last day of August...this month has gone way to fast...
Today the family and I did the 17 mile drive .. The view was awesome. The weather was great, chilly at first, then the sun came out of hiding...
Tonight the family and I are going to Red Lobster for dinner...can't wait...lol
Then going shopping for Lizzie...
Tomorrow we will be going to the Golden Gate Bridge...That is all Lizzie wanted to see every since we got here...
Wednesday is the day, I FINNALLY get into the dorms...Pray that everything goes well..

Sunday Morning

Sunday...What a beautiful day. The weather is in the seventy's...
This morning I got up, got dress, and headed to church with my family.
Its a blessing to have the parents that God gave me.
Church.... The services were a blessing, even though I am not home in my home church, GOd is good, wherever HIS word is being preach.
The Sunday school hour was with Dr.Trieber, himself.. The the AM service was awesome. I got so much out of it. I can't even explain it was that good.
So i have a situation, last night as I was moving my laptop to a differnt spot , I drop it, and the screen shattered, so I am out of luck of a laptop, for a couple of weeks, but good old dad will be able to fix it , when they get back home....its a good thing that the college has a computer lab, so I will be able to keep everyone updated...

Today, August 29, 2009

The Family and I went to Dennys for breakfast. Then we had had to go back to the outlets because one of the shoes that we bought was two differents sizes, yes, they were the pair for me.
We went back to the hotel to catch up on sleep, well Dad and I did, Mom and Lizzie went to the pool.
Later today we are going to Walmart to get more school supplies for me and Melaine..
We are also going to Ross, ladies clothing store, to get Lizzie more dresses, she is in desperate need of dresses.
Tommorrow, Sunday, can't wait for the Lord's day. Going miss my home church and family.
But going to college is God's plan for my life right.

Before College

Today, August 28,2009

We got in last night at 5:50pm. Got our luggage, then the rental car, then to the hotel, then went and got food, then FINALLY in bed.
Got up this morning at 6:30. The family and I went to breakfast and we were off to Yosemite Falls. The drive was long but worth it. Plenty of pictures. Even though there was no water at the falls, it was worth the walk.
Going up to the falls, we saw three helicopters collecting water to fight the forest fires and on the way down.
Going back home we stopped at the Gilroy Outlets. Lizzie,Dad and I all got new tennis shows. Dad and I got Addis, and Lizzie got , of course, Converse.
We are finally back at the Hotel.
